Every Project, a Victory for Wild Salmon

At Salmón, every project is a victory… not just for us, but also for real salmon.

Every year, millions of wild salmon face threats like dams, pollution, and overfishing. And while their journey is inspiring, their numbers are rapidly declining.

Calling ourselves Salmón was no coincidence. Salmon are a symbol of resilience, strategy, and purpose—and they inspire the way we work.

That’s why, every time we complete a project, we set aside a portion to support a real cause. At Salmón, we donate part of our revenue to the Atlantic Salmon Federation (ASF), an organization whose work we deeply admire.

Who is the Atlantic Salmon Federation and what do they do?

ASF is an organization with more than 75 years of history, committed to protecting and restoring wild Atlantic salmon and their ecosystems. Based in Canada, they coordinate scientific research, habitat restoration, and environmental policy advocacy to give salmon a real future.

Some of their main areas of work include:

  • Scientific Research
Mapping migration routes, studying resilience to climate change, and modeling long-term behavior.
  • Watershed Conservation
Working with communities to preserve and strengthen healthy rivers where salmon populations still thrive.
  • Habitat Restoration
Removing migration barriers, restoring damaged ecosystems, and creating cold-water refuges essential for survival.
  • Environmental and Policy Advocacy
Promoting legislation and collective action to protect migration routes and clean waters.

Why do we do it?

We believe brands should have a purpose. If we’re going to build strategies that make an impact, we can also leave a positive mark on the planet.

Just as we find inspiration in the story of salmon to create strategies, we believe everyone can contribute to their preservation.

If this cause inspires you and you’d like to directly support the protection of salmon and their ecosystems, we invite you to donate at: https://www.asf.ca/donate.

Thank you for trusting us. By working with us, your project also helps save real salmon.

So long, and thanks for all the fish.
